Yankee-kun to Megane-chan was originally created as a manga and recently adapted to a drama. I just discovered it the other way around. I needed a break from reading too many manga too much the other day. I browsed mysoju.com, and chose to watch Yankee-kun to Megane-chan drama because of the interesting title.

Synopsis from drama wiki:

Shinagawa Daichi used to be a good student who has now become a delinquent, while class president Adachi Hana was a delinquent who is now trying to move on. Her secret is discovered by Shinagawa, but she involves herself trying to correct his ways.

I have a good first impression of the Yankee-kun to Megane-chan (yannmega) drama, it was quite hillarious. While Narimiya Hiroki’s acting is a bit to the cheesy side, but Shinagawa Daichi’s character that he was playing is entertaining. The real star of the drama, in my opinion is Naka Riisa. She plays her role as Adachi Hana, a nagging class representative very well.
